Horses/mules/donkeys and
riders will be required to complete the course in a set time. It
will be up to the rider to determine if they are spending too much
time on a single obstacle. It will be up to the rider to
decided when to move on to the next obstacle. Any obstacle not
completed with in the allotted time will receive a score of zero for
the uncompleted obstacles.
COMPETITOR/ENTRY
*It will be left to the rider's discretion the type of tack they
wish to use.
*However, the use of a tie down may reduce your
score due to lack of ability to show true control and willingness of
the horse.
*Helmets are not required, however are recommended.
*Competition open to all ages of girls and boys, men and women.
*All entries must sign a liability release form. All minors
must have release signed by a parent or legal guardian.
MOUNT
*The rider’s mount will be left to their discretion. All breeds of
horses, mules and donkeys may be ridden.
*A mount may only be entered one time, however riders may enter more
than one mount.
*Stallion entries are allowed.
ADVANCED CHALLENGE
Pay out will be a 50/50 payout. Number of contestants paid
will be based on number of riders.
There will be a total of 12 Obstacles in the Advanced
FUN RUN
Pay out will be a 60/40 payout. Number of contestants paid
will be based on number of riders.
There will be a total of 10 Obstacles in the J2 Fun Run
KIDS CLASS
This will be for your beginner/timid riders and children ages 11
and under
There will be a total of 6 obstacles for his age group to complete
In the Kids Class a horse may be used for more than one rider. (only
exception)
Limited to 20 riders
Trophies given to 1st - 6th place
ADVERTISING
We have made every attempt to get the most coverage of this advent
to draw in riders from all over.
We have placed paid advertisements in the Southern Horse Connection,
Horse N Tack, Hoofbeats, Flahorse.com, Floridabarrelhores.com,
Arenarecord.com, gothorsemanship.com, gahorse.com, horsedirect.com, and multiple local
papers. Our coverage includes all of Florida, Georgia,
Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
