The girls had about $430 total investment in the pigs.
They paid $150 for each of them as babies, the rest of the money went to feeding and worming them over the 85 days they had them.

The actual slaughter price for the pigs was .37lbs, that is what the butcher bought the pigs back from the buyers for.
Okay, local business bought the pigs and then sold them to the packing house.

All the kids in the center are children who participated
in showing a pig for 2009

This is Jessica showing her pig

Here is Nina and her pig
The man in the brown jacket is the judge.

The judge asked each child what he/she would change
about their pig if they could.

Most of the children said they would spend more
time with them.

Once again it just shows how fast time flys!

This is Dakota she came to both the show and then the sale with us.

This is my niece, Mattie Blair.

The judge is looking at her pig and asking her questions.

This is my nephew Olin Blair.
