We believe in Natural Horsemanship and we 
use POSITIVE reinforcement in our training program.

Please note that each animal is unique. We cannot guarantee the effect of the training program or that any particular results will be achieved, since this depends a great deal on the individual physical and mental ability of each horse.

We believe that all horses have different abilities and that each horse should be trained to maximize their abilities.

We believe that every horse should be taught the basics no matter what their job in life is.

Here at J2 Horses we have developed our own training program to teach each horse the basic fundamental that every horse should have.

Our program is designed to work with young horses that have never been handled before or with an older horse that just needs refresher training.

Each horse's training plan is customized to their current level of training.  Each horse is evaluated to determine what areas of training is in need of improvement and what areas are lacking in training.   

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT JUST BECAUSE I AM ABLE TO COMPLETE VARIOUS MANEUVERS WITH YOUR HORSE, DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO! 
I CAN NOT GUARANTEE YOUR RIDING SKILLS.

NOTE: NOT ALL HORSES WILL BE AT THE SAME LEVEL IN 30 OR 60 DAYS. 
EVERY HORSE IS DIFFERENT AND REQUIRES MORE OR LESS TIME.

Not every horse needs the same training, some horses will naturally walk over obstacles and think nothing about it.  Other horses may have an imbedded fear for obstacles.  We will focus on your horses weakness in order to instill the fundamental.  Which in turn when pulled together makes your horse a better rounded/balanced horse.

During the time your horse is with us he will be ridden down trails, through the woods, and exposed to several natural obstacles.  Each of these obstacles gives your horse a chance to grow and for us to reinforce the training that your horse has learned.  He will also be exposed to dirt roads and occasional moving vehicles.  Your horse will be ridden alone and ridden with other horses.   

Once your horse is able to perform all the above willingly and without difficulty then he is ready to start specialized training.  If you would like your horse to enter into a specialized training program we will be more than happy to discuss this with you.

WE ALSO ENCOURAGE OWNERS TO BE INVOLVED AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IN THE TRAINING PROGRAM.   YOUR HORSE HAS TO BE TAUGHT TO RESPOND TO YOU JUST AS THEY RESPOND TO ME.  

Remember training is like everything else in live.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
Please be involved with any trainer that you use.
Make sure you know what is going on with your horse.
Is he being rode or just put on a walker?  
Are you getting what you are paying for?  
Plus, remember everything a horse learns is something they don't forget.  
So, make sure you are comfortable with your trainers methods...
If your not comfortable then your horse probably is not either!
